Kia Ora koutou, as a follower of Jesus, I am passionate about helping others discover the gifts God has given them and inviting them to live in the life transforming space that comes with knowing, in the core of our being, that we are God’s beloved children. I am also passionate about God’s church and caring for those in leadership. The question “who cares for the carers?” has long been a motivating question for me. When the opportunity to train as a coach arose, I jumped to take it up as I believe coaching is a lifegiving way to help leaders go deeper and grow in resilience.

A bit about me. I am married to Trevor; we have four adult children and three and a bit grandchildren. God’s call into ministry and church leadership came late in my life. After practising as a midwife for 20 years in Nelson, I left to follow God’s call and train for ministry. Completing my B Min Through Laidlaw College and a Dip Min at Knox Centre for Ministry Leadership (KCML) in Dunedin. While there I also completed a PG Dip Min through Otago University. I was sole charge minister at Lincoln (̄otautahi, Christchurch) for 16 plus years. I have recently stepped down after 3 years as Moderator of Alpine Presbytery, PCANZ. I am a part time Chaplain at Rangi Ruru Girls School and mentor interns in training for KCML.

Drawing deeply from my years in midwifery, my coaching philosophy is rooted in coming alongside individuals as they discern what is taking shape within their lives and ministries. I see my role as one of helping you recognise, nurture, and ultimately bring to fruition the unique gifts and callings that have been growing within. I also have an area of interest in life transitions and all that can encompass.

If you’re navigating leadership or life transitions and seeking someone to come alongside you in your journey, I would love to connect and offer support shaped by both my ministry and coaching experience.
